Mature trees ensure privacy while pleached hornbeams hide a play area and introduce formality. The area along the stream has been planted with wild flowers. | The entire design process consisted of two phases: creating a formal garden as well as a functioning vegetable garden. |

| Built according to the traditional cruciform plan but featuring a diagonal line through it the potager centers round a rose pergola over an antique stone basin. |

| Cascades, steps and richly planted outdoor rooms relate to the scale of the medieval chateau and create an ideal setting for entertainment. |

| Beyond the redesigned gardens the property is completely surrounded by vineyards. |
